Engaged in research activities for over 30 years. Specializes in the field of economic and interdisciplinary research, including issues of: human capital development, social policy, employment of the population, the formation of a balanced labor market and mechanisms for its regulation, forecasting the need for qualified personnel, labor migration, demography, migration, international integration, etc.

Successfully implemented research projects within the framework of targeted funding programs, grants from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Thematic Plan of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a leader, including: “Approaches for developing forecasts of labor market needs, taking into account the development of new industries and technologies” (2013-2014 .); “Theoretical and methodological foundations for ensuring and forecasting the economy’s need for qualified personnel” (2013-2015); “Effective employment of the population in the system of ensuring a balanced territorial development of the national economy” (2015-2017); “Study of changes in the structure of the economy and the labor market in the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2050” (2017); “Improving the competitiveness of national personnel as a condition for ensuring a balance of labor resources and jobs” (2018-2020), “Development of a system for assessing and certifying the professional competencies of PPP specialists in the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with international standards and advanced technologies” (IRN AR08957434, 2020- 2021)
